Light it. Cook on it. Pack it.
No manual the size of a bakkie. Three moves. Then sit down.

Light it
- Hardwood. Kindling. Air.
- A little flame, then wait. Don’t drown it in firelighters.
- When the coals sit, you’re in.

Cook on it
- Grid on the rim. Fat, salt, time.
- Boerewors. A steak. Bread on the side.
- The pit is a fire first, a braai when you want it.

Pack it
- Let it die. Ash out.
- Legs fold. Bowl in the camper.
- Bakkie. Next place. Same fire.
That’s it.
